Summary:Subject Line: Untitled
Grian's venture into the Hermitopia job market is not going particularly well. With a lackluster resume and many rejections letters, he finally manages to get at job at Mending Harbor Inc. Perhaps this job is a little too suited for him, as the allure of fishing grows steadily stronger and his pursuit for something unknown dominates his attention. Yet what is the hunter without something to hunt? After finally finding what he's looking for, Grian quits the fisherman lifestyle and re-enters the job market once more.
Subject Line: Pending
After a terrible job as a test subject for Hotguy's equipment at Cub's lab, Grian decides it's time to turn to villainy. Getting a new career as a minion at Doc Monster's Perimeter is easier than expected, and it also goes a little too well. Grian distracts himself by yearning for the ocean once more, before finally quitting henchmen work altogether and getting a job in security. Doc Monster was getting a little too clingy for his tastes.
Subject Line: (No Subject)
In the aftermath of Deer Hunting Season, Grian finds himself without a job and desperate. With great reluctance, he tentatively drafts out an email to his acquaintance Scar Goodtimes for help, the very same guy he made sleep out on a bench. The only reply he gets is impersonal and automated. Grian doesn't know what to do next.
Subject Line: Denied
Many many years later, Scar finally checks his inbox and sees Grian's job inquiry from back before they knew each others identities. He then proceeds to fumble badly trying to hire Grian, excuse his own poor email etiquette, and give a speech simultaneously. Cub and Bdubs attempt to intervene. Grian blocks him before he can embarass anyone further.

Summary:While discussing their plan to protect Mumbo’s latest invention, Cuteguy notices that Hotguy seems a bit distracted. As Hotguy brushes off concerns about his well-being and readiness, Mumbo runs over in tears, exclaiming that his project has been stolen.
Hotguy spots a suspicious individual in the crowd, chasing after them. Cuteguy tries to follow but loses sight of him, struggling to find him as he’s forgotten what Hotguy’s mask looks like. Reuniting thanks to the bug shaped scar on Hotguy’s neck, the two are forced into a dance together with the crowd. Cuteguy once again mentions that Hotguy isn’t ready, and Hotguy believes making up for his wrongs is more important than whether or not he’s ready.
They have a brief heart to heart, and Mumbo finds them once more for an update as they reconcile, minutes away from beginning his presentation. Jumping into action, Hotguy distracts the crowd while Cuteguy apprehends the person responsible. He returns backstage just as the curtains open and Mumbo jumps in to present his latest creation, Grumbot to the crowd.
Hotguy and Cuteguy meet back up to pat each other on the back, only to find other attendees approaching them to demand answers about their missing displays. As for the band of thieves, they make a call to Smoke Signal, who tells them to meet with Moon at the designated location.
